Canon Middle East FZ LLC (CME), a subsidiary of Canon Europe, is the regional headquarters of Canon in the Middle East. CME was set up in the United Arab Emirates in 1998, and later established as Canon Middle East FZ-LLC (CME) in 2001 as a free zone company.
Based in Dubai, UAE, Canon has a strong history of presence in the region. For over 50 years, it was represented in the Middle East through distributors and partners that helped Canon in securing a strong customer base and significant market share in the region. The inception of CME brought Cannon closer to its customers and adds value to its partners.
Canon Middle East today manages sales, marketing and technical support activities across 12 countries in the Middle East and has 286 employees.
CME is committed to Canon’s corporate philosophy of Kyosei – ‘living and working together for the common good’. It pursues sustainable business growth, focusing on reducing its environmental impact and supporting customers to reduce theirs using Canon’s products, solutions and services.
Canon’s product range is divided into two broad segments: Business Solutions (developing IT products, solutions and services for both the office and professional print environments) and Consumer Imaging (photography, video and digital camera, Laser and Inkjet printers).
