To achieve the Ministry of Manpower’s vision of contributing to an effective national economy based on innovation for sustainable development; the Ministry launched an innovation system to spread the culture of innovation among the students of technical and vocational colleges, as well as Ministry staff, through the open data innovation portal. The system focuses on three key areas: to attract these participants to highlight their creations and innovations, to further the crystallization of ideas, and ultimately transform them into projects with added value to the national economy. These actions will serve to encourage entrepreneurship and small enterprises, in addition to strengthening the strategic partnership between the three production partners (government, employers and workers) to support emerging projects.
