H.E. Dr Saïd Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kingdom of Morocco

MENA Innovation 2021 will take place in Rabat under the official patronage of His Excellency Dr Saïd Amzazi, the Moroccan Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research. As well as the Ministry of National Education, the government will be ensuring the participation of key officials from the ministries for employment and for digital economy and from key stakeholders including the leading Moroccan universities.

H.E. Dr Saïd Amzazi will personally invite the ministers of education, higher education and ICT from all the Middle Eastern and North African countries. This follows on from the highly productive MENA Innovation summit of 2019 in Oman that included 22 ministers leading delegations of over 250 senior government officials.

Invitations to ministers from across the region will be further enhanced by personal invitations to departmental director generals responsible for the procurement and specification of educational products and services, digital technologies, ICTs and other key innovations provided by participating solution providers.

In addition to the official partnership between the Moroccan Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and the organisers, ArabBrains, MENA Innovation will also be in partnership with ALECSO (Arab League Educational, Cultural & Scientific Organisation). ALECSO is an endorsing partner and the Director General, H.E. Prof Mohamed Ould Amar will be confirming the participation of ministers and will be working with the organisers to ensure the participation of senior government officials from all Arab League countries.

MENA Innovation 2021 is the must attend event for industry solution providers to arrange pre-scheduled meetings with ministers and senior government officials for education, higher education, ICT and scientific research from the entire MENA region all under one roof in the historic and bountiful city of Rabat, Morocco.

Pre-Scheduled Meetings for Industry Partners

The centrepiece of MENA Innovation 2021 will be the pre-scheduled meetings for industry partners to book, in advance, their preferred ministries, countries and organisations; allowing for one-to-one high-level interaction necessary to do business in the region.

“The agenda is very strong. We have had some great conversations. The appetite is strong in the region to transform education & learning”
Aaron Fright – Director, Smart Technologies

Within the main conference arena, over 60 meeting tables will be set up for ministries of education, ICT, higher education, science & technology, universities, multilateral agencies and consortium for private schools from Middle East and North African countries. Industry partners obtain access to our online scheduling system allowing them to choose meetings, create their own agenda and specifically target key clients and partners prior to the start of the summit. It is a format that ensures a successful forum for all participants and above all it is what makes MENA Innovation 2021 stand alone as a unique working event for doing deals and providing a powerful return on time and investment.

Equally the ministers and officials hosting the meetings regard attendance as essential, allowing them to meet industry leaders, solution providers and their counterparts from across the Arab world. The meetings represent a great opportunity for officials to gain expertise from the market, hear of the latest product and technological developments and, under one roof, engage with private sector operators who can fulfil the demands for education, ICTs, science & research e-government in all attending MENA countries.

“This event touches on the very important topics about active learning, technical educational, vocational training and the skills for the 4th industrial revolution … this will change the whole educational systems in the MENA region.”
Dr Mohammed Moawia – Director General, Sudan Ministry of Education
